Tip 1: Eat water rich foods

Foods like fruits and vegetables are very powerful in helping you to get healthier and maintain a healthier weight. You should not really need to drink that much water during the day if you are eating enough water rich foods. Be careful to not drink too much water as this can cause you to retain water weight and too much water can actually be bad for your health so only drink water when you are actually thirsty. Learn to listen to the signals your body is sending you.

Tip 2: Eat less more often

It is ok to once in a while eat a lot of food but for most people eating less more often is a good option as it will ensure you get a steady stream of nutrition throughout the day and not get too hungry causing you to overeat. Between large meals consider having a healthy snack like an apple or banana and wait until you are hungry before eating your larger meals.

Tip 3: Eat only when you are hungry

Never allow yourself to feel hunger and not eat something. When you are hungry that is when your body is ready for nutrition so be sure to feed yourself accordingly based on the level of hunger you are experiencing. However also remember to stop eating once you have eaten enough and feel full. If your plate is still half full then save it for later or throw it out. Eating when you are not hungry or just because you are bored is one of the biggest reasons people gain excess weight.
